10. Workshop 2020
10th Workshop of Chemical and Biological Micro Laboratory Technology
February 26th - 28th, 2020
in Ilmenau, Elgersburg (Thuringia, Germany)
Microfluidics, micro reactors and lab on a chip techniques initiated a lot of exciting developments in chemical and biological laboratories. Among them, droplet based techniques and micro segmented flow have been proved as very promising strategies in realizing ultraminiaturized and highly efficient investigations and screenings. The recent state of the art, new applications and challenges will be discussed on the 10th CBM workshop. It is mainly focussed on:
- Microsystems and transducers for microfluidics
- Micro and nanofluidic reactors, networks and system integration
- Miniaturized cell culture techniques and single cell techniques
- Microfluidics in microbiological screenings
- Particle based labelling, targeting and sensing strategies
- Droplet-based methods in (bio)chemical and biomedical analytics and sensing
- Syntheses and application of micro and nanoparticles in microfluidic systems
- Micro flow photochemistry
This workshop is jointly organized by the TU Ilmenau, the Leibniz-Institute of Photonic Technology Jena, as well as the Institute for Bioprocessing and Analytical Measurement Techniques Heiligenstadt in cooperation with University of Tübingen und EMC microcollection.
