On Girls' Day - the girl's future day - girls from class 5 on have the opportunity to get to know interesting professions. Throughout Germany, companies and organizations are inviting schoolgirls on this Thursday to explore professions, especially in technology, IT, crafts and natural sciences, authorities and research facilities.
The TU Ilmenau also offers prospective students the opportunity to get an initial insight into science, research and development. The Girls'Day can be an entry into the later study and career choice.
After a short introduction, demonstrations and viewings of various biomedical device systems and experimental scenarios in the ophthalmological and electrophysiological laboratory as well as in the X-ray laboratory will be the focus of the event.
