Bachelor of Science
standard length of study
May 16 - October 15 | January 16 - July 15 (International Students)
Industrial Engineering and Management is an interdisciplinary major. In a broadly conceived and almost equivalent scientific and engineering as well as law and economics education, the students acquire the ability to combine engineering and business management thinking and to solve corresponding problems together with specialists from other departments. The students should acquire the ability to critically classify scientific findings and to become acquainted with the manifold tasks of application- and subject-related fields of work.
The level of education attained in the bachelor program already allows with the transition to the master program a broader career-oriented specialization and deepening. Successful studies lead to the professional qualification "Bachelor of Science". This is a prerequisite for the master program based on it.
I am studying Industrial Engineering and Management because it gives me a wide range of education in both business administration and engineering subjects.
The basic internship is an academic achievement with a duration of six weeks. It should be fulfilled preferably before the start of studies. The professional internship during the sixth semester takes 12 weeks and can be completed in companies at home as well as abroad.
