25th career fair inova at the TU Ilmenau

For the 25th time, the career fair inovailmenau opened its doors in the campus sports hall. It once again offered TU Ilmenau students contact opportunities with numerous interesting companies.

For the 25th time, the career fair inovailmenau opened its doors at the TU Ilmenau this year.

Since 1996, the student association SWING at the TU Ilmenau e.V. has organized the fair annually on an exclusively voluntary basis and thus creates a contact point for all students. The direct contact to companies supports the search for an internship, a working student position or for direct entry after graduation. Around 140 regional and national companies took the opportunity to present themselves as employers to interested visitors, to hold talks with interested parties and to fill vacancies. The TU Ilmenau was also represented with a booth and informed among other things about the offers of its Carrer Center.

After the inova2020 had to be cancelled the year before due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project management in 2021 focused on the parallel planning of a digital trade fair and a trade fair in presence. In the end, the project team was able to decide in favor of holding the trade fair in presence under specified hygiene measures. Exhibitors and the students of TU Ilmenau thus had the opportunity to exchange ideas in person from 26 and 27 October.

Patrons of inova2021 included Bodo Ramelow, Minister President of the Free State of Thuringia, Prof. Kai-Uwe Sattler, President of TU Ilmenau, Dr. Daniel Schultheiß, Mayor of the City of Ilmenau, and Corinna Schittenhelm, Chief Human Resources Officer and Director of Labor Relations at Schaeffler AG.
