Rhetoric and presentation training for PhD and doctoral students

In this 12 hour long workshop for PhD and doctoral students rhetoric and presentation coach Christina Stute will try to answer the following questions:

• How to present a scientific lecture in an interesting and professional way?
• How to be more comprehensible to the audience and to make up the right interactive contact?
• What about body language, the correct pronunciation, accentuation and form of presentation?
• Are there intercultural differences and different expectations in Germany?

We will talk about these topics and train special moments and challenges of a presentation / lecture. The training will have theoretical and practical parts, we´ll train in a confident and relaxed atmosphere. So you can find out your own way of presenting against the background of professional hint and practical advices.

The training will be held in English language in IBZ seminar room at TU Ilmenau.

This event is offered by International Office / Welcome Center for International Researchers and our program for doctoral students. It is made possible by the German Exchange Service (DAAD) and funds of Federal Foreign Office. It is also part of the Exellence in Science program of TU Ilmenau Graduate Center.
