Die Studierenden kennen grundlegende physikalische Prinzipien der mechanischen Energiewandlung. Sie verstehen den grundsätzlichen Wicklungsaufbau, die Feldverteilung und die Drehmomentbildung von Stator und Rotor rotierender elektrischer Maschinen. Sie sind in der Lage, das Grundprinzip, den Aufbau und das Betriebsverhalten von Gleichstrom-,Drehstromasynchron- und Drehstromsynchronmaschinen zu verstehen und anzuwenden.
