Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, die wichtigsten Hardwarekomponenten von Steuerbaugruppen der elektrischen Energietechnik in die verschiedenen Kategorien und Prinzipien einzuordnen und zu verstehen. Sie sind mit den Grundkenntnissen der Mikrorechnerprogrammierung vertraut. Sie können grundlegende Softwaretools für gewünschte Anwendungen auswählen, modifizieren und in Betrieb nehmen. Sie sind befähigt, einfache Anwendungsbeispiele von Steuer- und Regelverfahren analog und digital umzusetzen.
