| learning outcome | Studierende sind mit den Grundlagen der Industrieökonomik vertraut, können Märkte analysieren und kontextbezogen Unternehmensstrategien ableiten. Darüber hinaus sind sie in der Lage, wohlfahrtstheoretische Schlüsse zu ziehen und die Wirkung ökonomischen Handelns aus gesamtgesellschaftlicher Sicht zu beurteilen. Die erlernten Modellierungstechniken dienen als Vorbereitung für industrieökonomische Veranstaltungen auf Master-niveau und fördern darüber hinaus das analytische, strategische Denken und die Kritikfähigkeit. |
| content | Es werden industrieökonomische Grundlagen über Wettbewerbsprozesse und die Funktionsweise von Märkten vermittelt, sowie mögliche Implikationen für die Wirtschaftspolitik diskutiert. Im Vordergrund steht die Analyse des unternehmerischen Verhaltens. Verschiedene Determinanten wie Marktstruktur, Markteintritte und -austritte, Produktdifferenzierung, Netzwerkeffekte oder Unsicherheit werden hinsichtlich ihrer Wirkung auf das strategische Verhalten der Unternehmen untersucht, um auch Fragen zu beantworten, ob staatliches Eingreifen eine Verbesserung des Marktergebnisses leisten kann. |
