Students are able to understand a current research-based topic in the field The Economics of Entertainment, Culture, and Events, find and understand state-of-the-art scientific literature, present high-level interdependencies and discuss them in a reflective way. They know how to:

  • Search, understand and discuss the state-of-the-art of scientific literature.
  • Identify, classify and compare different streams of the academic literature.
  • Identify and reflect upon open research questions and develop an own academic expert opinion on the topic.

Students are competent to present their work in a written thesis as well as in an oral presentation, following the rules of high-level scientific work, as well as to discuss and reflect upon other students’ work.
