Die Studierenden haben nach der Vorlesung einen guten Überblick über moderne Methoden der Diskreten Analysis. Sie kennen die Verbindungen zu anderen Teilgebieten der Mathematik und die Anwendungen dort. Sie sind nach den Übungen in der Lage, aktuelle Forschungsarbeiten zu lesen und die Ergebnisse zu präsentieren.
