Fundamentals of Law or Fundamentals of Business Law

learning outcome


Students have acquired fundamental knowledge of the foundations and institutions of law and economics (contract, tort and business law, intellectual property, competition law).

Students have learned how these rules and institutions are subject to change and development due to the large-scale integration of algorithms in today's world.

Based on these foundations, each student has developed his/her own research question and research proposal on a specific question and has written a methodologically coherent paper (ca. 5000 words). The student has presented key finding and points of analysis in class (ca. 10-15minutes)

The combination of the lecture and seminar format has provided the students with a good theoretical foundation for their own research and has integrated legal and economic aspects with knowledge from their own disciplines.
