learning outcomeAfter successfully completing the module, students will be able to understand a defined digitisation-related topic from economics or law, place it in the context of the literature, present it coherently and critically assess it. They are able to research, categorise and evaluate the current state of the literature. Successful students can identify and systematise different opinions and streams of literature. They can also work out and specify specific aspects of a topic. On successful completion of the module, students are able to deal with open questions according to a system recognised in the respective discipline and to take an independent position. Successful students will have the skills to present the questions and results they have developed both in writing and orally to a group and to comply with the formal and content-related requirements of academic work. After successfully completing the module, students will be able to argue and discuss their research results with a group.

Students must attend an advanced seminar on a digitisation-related topic from a subject area in the Faculty of WM. The specific topics currently on offer can be found on the websites of the respective subject area.
