Students have deepeedn their expertise in a specific scientific area, gaining the ability to independently tackle complex problems within a set timeframe using scientific methods. They can effectively analyze, document, and present their findings according to scientific standards. They have acquired strong problem-solving skills, can critically evaluate their work, and are capable of producing scientifically sound texts. They are proficient in presenting their research to both general and specialized audiences, clearly articulating their approach, and defending their results in professional discussions.

​Independent work on a subject-specific topic under supervision and documentation of the process:
– Planning and development of a work plan
– Familiarization with the relevant literature
– Development of the necessary scientific methods
– Execution, evaluation, and discussion of the results
– Preparation of the Master's thesis
– Defense of the Master's thesis

Written documentation and lecture with digital presentation

Respective academic literature as specified by the supervisor

partial performance 1 (examination number 99001):
Preparation of a written thesis with a weighting of 80%.
A written scientific paper in the primary subject, which may have, to be completed within 6 months.

partial performance 2 (examination number 99002):
Presentation of 30 minutes + discussion of a maximum of 30 minutes, with a weighting of 20%. The colloquium usually takes place no later than six weeks after the submission of the written scientific paper.
