| learning outcome | Die Studierenden sind fähig, an der Schnittstelle zwischen organischer Chemie und Biotechnologie Probleme zu analysieren, geeignete, insbesondere moderne Laborverfahren zur Lösung der Aufgaben auszuwählen und anhand des Syntheseerfolgs die wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse zu bewerten, um schließlich einen geeigneten Syntheseplan vorzulegen. Die Studierenden sind fähig, Aufgaben der chemischen und biologischen Wissenschaft zu analysieren, geeignete Methoden und Synthesepläne auszuwählen und entsprechende Ergebnisse zu gewinnen. Die Studierenden erarbeiten Problemlösungen komplexer Syntheseaufgaben in der Gruppe. Sie können die von ihnen gewonnen Erkenntnisse gemeinsam in einer Aufgabenstellung analysieren und dokumentieren. |
| content | This section of the bioorganic chemistry is designed to teach concept of bioconjugation that has regular applications in biotechnology for developing different types of assays, therapies and diagnosis. Students are informed about the role of organic synthesis in biotechnology especially the synthetic chemistry methods those are used for developing biomolecule-drug or substrate conjugates. The major part of this teaching focuses the functional group targets for the biomolecules, biopolymer and biocompatible polymer. Following content is included in this course
