| learning outcome | The students are able to work on current research topics under supervision. They should be able to analyze open problems, to describe the current state of the art and to develop as well as implement approaches for novel solutions. |
| content | Research work will be supervised by a lecturer of a department of a faculty involved in the degree program. The students learn to work with scientific literature and to present results in accordance with scientific standards. The students apply their theoretical knowledge to a complex practical problem under supervision of a member of the research group. The documentation of their work contains a written report and a presentation of their results. The presentation is followed by a scientific discussion with a professional audience. |
