learning outcome

1) Knowledge and understanding

Students have imparted a general understanding of organization theory and organization design problems. This also includes interorganizational relations and organizational change. Furthermore, students understand the problems arising from human opportunism and know corporate governance mechanisms to mitigate moral hazard.

2) Intellectual skills

Students are enabled to think critically and to be creative: manage the creative processes in self and others; organise thoughts, analyse, synthesise and critically appraise. This includes the capability to identify assumptions, evaluate statements in terms of evidence, detect false logic or reasoning, identify implicit values, define terms adequately and generalise appropriately.

3) Professional practical skills

Students have effective performance skills within team environments and have the ability to recognise and utilise individuals' contributions in group processes and to negotiate and persuade or influence others.

4) Transferable (key) skills

Students have developed effective two-way communication: listening, effective oral and written communication of complex ideas and arguments, using a range of media, including the preparation of assignments.
