The module Sustainable Energy Finance (examination number 250024) concludes following exam components:

1) Written examination of 60 minutes with a weighting of 70% (examination number: 2500668) and

2) alternative, semester-accompanying examination with a weighting of 30% (examination number: 2500669).

Details of sub-part 1: It is possible to receive bonus points for the exam. Details will be announced in Moodle.
Details on the completion of sub-part 2: Alternative partial performance consists of development and presentation of case studies through group work and transfer of acquired knowledge as part of a homework assignment.

learning outcomeStudents know about the challenges of climate change and the implications for the energy sector. They are familiar with current trends and developments in the field of renewable energies. They understand the special characteristics of project financing and know the essential elements for financing renewable energy projects. The students are able to apply different financing models for wind farms and/or photovoltaic plants in a practical way and to independently develop a financing concept.
