From the lecture, students know the basic concepts of describing structures using markup languages like HTML or XML. On the basis of the exercises in the seminars, simple processes can be implemented algorithmically. They know the functional principles of the Internet, especially with regard to interactive web pages and services from the lecture and can apply them to a differentiated presentation of content for the Web, as tested in the seminars. They have a basic understanding of the structure of graphic content and can use this in the context of websites (with scripting languages) based on their practical experience. After intensive discussions and group work during the seminars, the students can correctly assess and appreciate the achievements of their fellow students. They consider criticism, heed remarks and accept hints.
