  • independently and thoroughly study a topic in a scholarly manner on the basis of scientific literature and on the basis of the subject-related and methodological skills acquired during the course of study
  • formulate a research topic
  • research relevant literature
  • propose an appropriate method in a reasoned manner
  • put their written research plan up for discussion
  • present their approach and interim results for discussion in the scientific discourse

Exposé:

Students prepare a written proposal for a topic and a working plan for their thesis.

Master Preparation Seminar:

Students discuss their approach and intermediate results in class. They acknowledge the feedback and respond to it with arguments. They themselves give feedback on other theses.
