learning outcome

  • Students know the process steps of the usability engineering lifecycle and their interrelationships.
  • Students can independently carry out the necessary steps for recording and modeling quality of experience in simple scenarios.
  • Students can independently develop and carry out simple studies in the laboratory and online environment.
  • Students can independently apply statistical methods to evaluate user studies.
content

Building on the content of the module User-Centric Engineering 1, this module includes advanced methods of user-centric development processes and the optimization of technical systems. Concrete and current examples of user-centered adaptation mechanisms of technical systems are presented. Furthermore, advanced survey and analysis methods for the collection and evaluation of subjective data are dealt with, which extend the basic knowledge from User-Centric Engineering 1.
