learning outcome

After successfully completing the module, students will be able to understand a specific topic from economics or law (including industrial engineering and business informatics), place it in the context of the literature, present it coherently and evaluate it critically. They will be able to research, classify and evaluate the state of the scientific literature. Successful students will be able to identify and systematise different academic opinions and literature trends. They will also be able to identify and specify specific aspects of a topic. They will be able to reflect the state of scientific theory and apply it to the chosen question, as well as master the scientific methods appropriate to the subject of the Master's thesis and apply them in a results-oriented manner. Upon successful completion of the module, students are able to work on open questions according to a system recognised in the respective discipline and to take an independent position. Successful students have the skills to present the questions and results they have worked out in writing, while complying with the formal and content-related requirements of scientific work.
