Basics of Mobile Communication Networks
The course provides an in-depth understanding of research issues in advanced (mobile) communication networks. The course is research-oriented and focuses primarily on the mobility management and QoS management for mobile systems. In addition, the course introduces some future systems and technologies, such as ad-hoc networks and cognitive radio. Furthermore, the course gives an overview of self-organization and its impact on future communication systems.
