| Lernergebnisse und erworbene Kompetenzen | Students have a comprehensive understanding of the tools and methods used in corporate finance and the critical role that corporate finance plays in strategic decision making. They are able to analyze and discuss corporate finance issues from the perspective of financial managers charged with making critical investment and financing decisions within a company. By the end of the course, students understand how companies identify and evaluate investment opportunities, how they raise the capital necessary to finance these investments, and how they evaluate the costs involved. In the exercises, students were able to test and apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the lecture using real models and data in practice. By this foundation, developed through the combination of lectures and exercises, students accept suggestions from the lecturers and their fellow students and are able to support their point of view argumentatively (increase in subject, method and social competence) |
