| learning outcome | The course has provided students with a thorough understanding of the conceptual and theoretical foundations of business models and their innovation. After attending the lecture, students have gained a thorough understanding of concepts, methods, and design elements of business models, are able to recognize and purposefully apply methods for innovation activities, and have a sound understanding of the theoretical foundations. The course has also enabled students to understand current problems of business model innovation, specify the challenges, and apply typical recommended solutions. During the program, students have learned to apply the knowledge acquired in the lecture, to work through case studies as well as to cooperate in small groups, and to present results. |
| content | In this module, in-depth issues from the field of business model innovation are presented based on textbooks and scientific journal articles and discussed in terms of their implications. The focus is on the following topics, among others:
