| Details zum Abschluss | The module Applied Production and Logistics Management (examination number 250010) concludes following exam components: 1) oral examination (ca. 20 minutes) with a weighting of 50% (examination number: 2500520) and 2) alternative examination in English with a weighting of 50% (examination number: 2500521) Details on the completion of sub-part 1 (in English or German, student’s choice): by appointment in the examination period or during the semester after completion of the lecture content (approx. December). Details on the completion of sub-part 2 (in English or German, depending on specific work): Oral scientific presentation of one's own practical task and subsequent detailed discussion of the developed contents (usually in teams of two, if necessary also as individual work), either

| Lernergebnisse und erworbene Kompetenzen | Students have acquired practical knowledge of production and logistics management and are able to classify essential design aspects of lean production and logistics processes in supply chain management. They have become familiar with new methods of production planning and control as well as logistics planning (increase in technical and methodological competence, learning outcomes: Recognition and understanding, tested by oral examination). Furthermore, they are able to deal with a practical problem in depth through the analysis of practical tasks (partly in companies) as well as on the basis of a comprehensive study of literature and to work out scientific findings independently and team-oriented and to present these within the framework of a detailed presentation and to discuss them in the circle of all participants. In doing so, they accept suggestions from the lecturers and their fellow students and are able to support their point of view argumentatively (increase of subject, method and social competence, learning outcomes: Analysing, assessing, creating, tested by a scientific presentation with subsequent discussion in the course of the second half of the semester). |
