Studierendenwerk Thüringen promotes student culture. Having already provided financial support to many student initiatives in previous years, we are making cultural funding even more accessible and transparent from this year. After the long period of 'cultural pandemic thirst', we want to use the campaign to make cultural funding known to newly enrolled students and provide incentives for projects by students for students," explains Rebecca Heuschkel, Head of Communications and Culture at Studierendenwerk Thüringen.

The Studierendenwerk Thüringen attaches particular importance to an intercultural reference and cross-university projects, diversely mixed teams and an equally diverse audience. In addition, as many people as possible are desired to be involved in the projects and to be reached with the ideas. The initiatives must take place in free time and be organized on a voluntary basis. Based on these criteria, a jury consisting of employees of the Thuringia Student Union and students will decide on the grants at the beginning of June. The projects should then be completed by November 30, after which the next project period begins.

All information on the call for proposals, the conditions of participation and how to apply is available on the website www.stw-thueringen.de/kultur/kulturfoerderung.html.
