Radio hsf starts the summer semester

Germany's oldest student radio from Ilmenau ends its break from broadcasting

When the new semester at the TU Ilmenau begins next Monday, the student radio hsf will be back on the air. Every weekday, Radio hsf will broadcast live a self-produced program from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.. In various broadcasts, for example, music genres are presented, current topics are addressed or local and regional issues are dealt with. The program is not only aimed at students, but also at the entire population of the Ilmenau region. Every evening, for example, there is the news at 7 p.m. - including regional news. The live broadcasts of the previous evening are repeated the next working day at lunchtime. In addition, the program consists of music shuffles and takeovers of broadcasts from other community radio stations in Thuringia.

You can receive the station in the city of Ilmenau on the FM frequency 98.1MHz or worldwide via the livestream on the Internet. Access to this and the complete broadcast schedule can be found on the association's new website: www.radio-hsf.de.

About 50 Radiomacher/inside engage themselves beside their study honorary with radio hsf. The hochschulfunk of the TU Ilmenau is since 1950 on transmission and broadcasts thus already longer than ARD and ZDF. The "hsf Studentenradio e.V." as a supporting association celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.

The broadcasting period in this summer semester runs from April 4 to July 17, 2022.
