For his Master's thesis on "Design of a machine concept for inserting sodium filaments into engine pistons", M.Sc. Robert Wegner, a graduate of the Master's program in Mechanical Engineering at the Ilmenau University of Technology, was awarded this year's IHK Prize of the Southern Thuringia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
