This module contains at least one alternative exam part. Please note that this must usually be registered at the beginning of the semester in which it is offered. The lecturer and/or the examination office will inform you about the details and time periods. If necessary, be sure to ask the lecturer.

Vorkenntnisse	Interest on environmental issue and comparative studies; knowledge on empirical research process and content analysis.
Lernergebnisse und erworbene Kompetenzen	Objective of the research seminar: The participants are able to review relevant literature, create and carry out empirical studies with quantitative content analysis, present and discuss findings as well as write research reports.
Inhalt	Create and carry out a research project on comparative study of how climate change frame in several countries. It will start with (1) conducting systematic literature review on framing of climate change, continue with (2) focus group discussion to create codebook and (3) carry out analysis of media coverage on climate change in several countries.
