The Ilmkubator – TU Ilmenau's start-up service – now offers two new consultation formats. With the digital consultation hours "Transfer-Check" and "Ideen-Sprechstunde", scientists and students can get in touch with the coaches of the Ilmkubator spontaneously and without complications. The start-up service's advisory services are thus expanded to include a low-threshold offer for initial contacts and short-term questions.
New digital consulting services at the Ilmkubator start-up service
Numerous research topics are not pursued further after completion of the projects, although they certainly have potential for commercial exploitation. The Transfer Check offers all interested scientists the opportunity to talk spontaneously and without complications with an Ilmkubator advisor about the possibilities of commercial exploitation. This can be about concrete projects and current research results as well as general questions about the Ilmkubator and its services.
The new offer for scientists is part of a series of activities at the university, which are implemented within the framework of the new transfer strategy of the TU Ilmenau. In addition to the focal points of research and teaching, the idea of transfer is to be emphasized and lived more strongly.
The transfer check takes place on every last Tuesday of the month from 11:00 to 12:00 am via Webex. The next appointment with the founding advisors Stefanie Freitag and Dr.-Ing. Andreas Meister is on 29 June 2021. Pre-registration is not necessary, but specific questions can be sent in advance by e-mail to email@example.com.
In addition to the Transfer Check for academics, the Ideas Consultation Hour offers all students and employees of the university the opportunity to present their start-up ideas and projects and to obtain feedback from the start-up advisors. General questions about self-employment and entrepreneurship are also welcome. In addition, the Ilmkubator also provides support in finding a team and informs about current events and services.
The ideas consultation hour takes place every first Thursday of the month between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. with the consultants Franziska Dettke, Stefanie Freitag and Dr.-Ing. Andreas Meister. The next consultation hour is on 01 July 2021 and will be hosted via Webex. Pre-registration is not necessary, but specific questions can be sent in advance via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The office hours are non-binding offers of the Ilmkubator. The contents of the talks will of course be treated confidentially. In addition to the new consultation formats, it is still possible to contact the staff of the Founder Service directly by e-mail or telephone.
