Nach
dem Besuch dieser Veranstaltung können die Studentierenden Datenbanksysteme
anwenden. Sie kennen die Schritte des Entwurfs von Datenbanken und können
die relationale Entwurfstheorie beschreiben. Weiterhin können sie deklarative
Anfragen in SQL sowie in formalen Sprachen
(Relationenalgebra, Anfragekalkül) formulieren und diese Kenntnisse auf
eigene Problemstellungen anwenden. Mit den Übungen können die Studierenden eigene Lösungen zu gestellten Aufgaben präsentieren, sich an themenspezifischen Diskussionen beteiligen und sind bereit, Fragen zu beantworten. Durch das zugehörige Praktikum können die Studierenden eigene Datenbanken entwerfen, in einem realen Datenbanksystem implementieren sowie darauf SQL-Anfragen zu konkreten Problemstellungen entwickeln. |
