Types of ignition of building materials and mechanisms for triggering fires through direct and indirect lightning effects
Discussion of the questions: Can lightning protection be described as preventive fire protection? What is meant by "dangerous sparking" when a fire is caused by lightning? What are critical constellations for fire development in the event of a lightning strike and how often and how likely are these? Are modern building materials less or more prone to ignition in the event of short-term thermal effects caused by lightning?
