David SchreierLast week, we had the pleasure to host the second project meeting „TrackOpt“ at Technische Universität Ilmenau. Over the two days, experts from particle physics, cell tracking, particle tracking velocimetry, and machine learning came together, creating a truly interdisciplinary environment to discuss on developing a resilient tracking framework by integrating physical constraints into deep learning approaches. A highlight was the visit to our experimental facilities for particle tracking velocimetry using event-based cameras, which gave some practical context to the discussions. Many thanks for visiting Ilmenau and looking forward to continuing the collaboration with Markus Cristinziani (Universität Siegen), Margret Keuper (Universität Mannheim), Ivo Ihrke (Universität Siegen) and Paul Swoboda (Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf).
