Discover the connection between energy and well-being!

How do energy systems impact well-being? How can sustainability principles be integrated into engineering solutions?

From 24-28 March 2025 TU Ilmenau offers a Winter School exploring these questions through an interactive and interdisciplinary program! Bachelor and Master engineering students of TU Ilmenau are invited to participate.

This five-day event brings together students and experts from across Europe, offering a mix of interactive sessions, hands-on case studies, lab tours, and excursions. Participants will gain insights into sustainable energy solutions, circular economy principles at the intersection of technology and human well-being.

Program highlights

  • Expert-Led Lectures & Workshops: Contributions from leading professors on sustainable energy, efficient energy systems, and business perspectives on circularity.
  • Case Studies & Lab Tours: Hands-on research experiences
  • Excursions & Cultural Activities: Explore the local impact of energy use, including climate change in forestry and urban sustainability challenges. Visits to regional companies with innovative and sustainable outlooks.
  • Networking Opportunities: Meet peers and academics from Italy, France, Poland, Turkey, and Portugal, fostering international collaboration
