The picture shows Prof. Dr.-Ing. Karlheinz Brandenburg and the IOSONO Wave Field Synthesis system. IOSONO is spin-off of company of the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology (IDMT).
Prof. Brandenburg also played a significant role in the development of the MP3 audio codec.
