2nd Green-Trans-Edu Science Camp

Technische Universität Ilmenau will host the 2nd Science Camp of the Green-Trans-Edu Cluster from 28 September to 2 October 2026. Twenty-five scientists from six higher education institutions in Germany, France, Indonesia, and the Philippines will come together to work on projects related to sustainable development, with a focus on renewable energy (SDG 7) and soil quality (SDG 15).

Following the Science Camp in Ilmenau, the participants will continue their activities through an international study visit to the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) in France and the European Commission in Brussels. The program will conclude with an international symposium at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences, where the participating institutions will showcase their approaches and experiences in advancing sustainability transformation within their institutions.

The Science Camp and related activities are part of the Green-Trans-Edu Cluster, an EU-funded initiative under the EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package – Higher Education Programme (SCOPE-HE), which aims to strengthen sustainable cooperation and connectivity between the EU and ASEAN.
