Thank you for choosing to study with us. Starting your studies brings with it many questions - and this is exactly where the TU Ilmenau Base Camp comes in! As a central point of contact, we support you at the start of your university life. On this page you will find helpful information and tips for a good start at TU Ilmenau.

Our aim is to help you at the start of the semester, to offer initial orientation and to provide uncomplicated support if you have any questions or problems. At Base Camp you can go through your personal check-in process and make your first contacts.

You will find us in the Ernst-Abbe-Zentrum (EAZ) Room 1341, Ehrenbergstr. 29.

BaseCamp is closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Introductory days for Master's students

Summer semester

Induction days  will takes place at the beginning of April for newly enrolled master's students.You will receive the most important information about studying at TU Ilmenau, get to know your tutors and receive a brief introduction to your degree program.
