As a member of the Franco-German University, we offer the bi-national study program in (micro)mechatronics together with our French partner university École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques de Besançon.

The Technische Universität Ilmenau coordinates the European university alliance SUNRISE - "Smaller (strategic) Universities Network for Regional Innovative and Sustainable Evolution", a strategic alliance of nine partner universities for innovative and sustainable regional development.

As one of 37 German universities, we are a member of the Turkish-German University in Istanbul, which was founded on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Turkey.
