The Graduate Centre offers PhD students, postdocs and tenure-track professors an Transferable Skills Programme comprising a range of training formats. You can find the current courses on our registration platform, Turm II, under ‘Research Services and Technology Transfer’. These are our terms and conditions of participation.

You can have the courses you have attended credited towards the Leadership in Science certificate.

The Graduate Centre is responsible for the ‘Leadership in Science’ certificate programme, which aims to provide interdisciplinary training and networking opportunities for PhD students at the Technical University of Ilmenau. You can find the latest events in the events calendar on Turm II.

If PhD students at TU Ilmenau face challenges relating to their PhD that they can no longer manage on their own, they have the option of contacting an external coach. Where necessary, we can arrange a coaching programme comprising five sessions. Please get in touch with us.
