Semeter key points

  • In each semester there are fixed dates, e.g. for the duration of the semester, start of lectures, examination period, re-registration period for the next semester and lecture-free periods.

    The so-called "Semester key points" give you an overview of the most important dates and deadlines for the Winter semester and the Summer semester and should help you to plan your individual semester.

Application periods

  • To begin a degree program

    - in the summer semester (SoSe) or 
    - in the winter semester (WiSe),

    TUIL has different application periods depending on the origin of the applicant’s certificates, which grant the applicant admission to the desired degree program at TUIL - ultimately based on the educational system of the country in which these certificates were earned. 

    For students already enroled at TUIL, separate application periods are offered so that they can reapply if they wish to change to a different Master program or to transit from a Bachelor to a Master program.

Registration periods

  • To ensure the smooth operation of academic programs in the best interests of students and departments, registration at TUIL takes place only during designated registration periods.
