The International Office sees itself as a service and interface to all areas of the university and as a bridge builder for international cooperation. We inform students and scientists about periods abroad, international exchange programs and the appropriate funding opportunities. We support and advise international students before they start their studies at the TU Ilmenau and accompany them throughout their studies. In addition, we advise the university management on international matters of an academic nature, supervise cooperations with partner universities worldwide, support the introduction of double degree programmes and act as the university's interface to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the National Agency for EU Higher Education Cooperation.
