IOG - Engineers without borders

Engineers without borders was founded in 2003 and is represented throughout Germany with about 30 regional groups. Since June 2013 we are also active in Ilmenau. Currently the regional group Ilmenau is working on the project "Water for Nyamache", in which the water supply of a village in Kenya should be improved. In addition, the members volunteer in regional educational projects, at the repair meeting, or in the bicycle workshop. Engineers without Borders offers a wide range of opportunities for people with or without a technical background to get involved. Students and staff of the university, but also alumni and external people work together as a team.
