Countless international cooperation programs are funded by the DAAD. Bundled calls are issued on three prescribed dates per year. Short-term special announcements are also distributed to all departments by the International Office outside of the deadline. All funding programs can be found at any time in the DAAD project database (only available in German language).

The DAAD currently funds numerous programs at our university. Most of these are coordinated by the International Office.

  • European University Networks (EUN) - national initiative
  • "FIT" - Promotion of international talents for integration into studies and the labour market
  • German university projects abroad: scholarships for foreign students
  • German-language study programs in Central and Eastern Europe/CIS
  • Higher Education Dialogue with the Muslim World
  • IAESTE - Financial subsidy for practical traineeships for foreign students of natural and technical sciences, agriculture and forestry
  • Integrated international study programs with double degrees
  • KOSPIE - Combined Study and Practice Stays for Engineers from Developing Countries (Argentina, Columbia, Mexico)
  • "Ostpartnerschaften" - partnerships with universities in East-Central, Southeast and Eastern Europe as well as the Caucasus and Central Asia
  • Partnerships with universities in Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America
  • Project-related exchange of persons program (PPP) - (with various countries)
  • PROMOS - Program to increase the mobility of students from German universities
  • SDG-Partnerships - higher education partnerships (HEIs) in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-relevant subject areas
  • STIBET I - Scholarship and Supervision Program for Foreign Students and Doctoral Candidates and DAAD Prize
  • Summer Schools in Germany
  • Ta'ziz Partnership - partnership programme with partner universities in the following countries in the MENA region
