94th Heidelberg Image Processing Forum

Owing to the growing influence of machine learning, including in image processing, the question of how quality assurance can be achieved through image processing has taken on new significance.

At the 94th Heidelberg Image Processing Forum, a comparative presentation will be given on the role played by new lighting and imaging techniques, as well as innovative analysis methods. In addition, discussions will focus on where and how AI methods enable robust system solutions and process optimization, and where this is not yet possible. The accompanying exhibition on the forum’s theme, taking place during the lunch and coffee breaks, and guided tours of the Group for Quality Assurance and Industrial Image Processing at the TU Ilmenau before and after the lecture program offer further diverse opportunities for information and discussion.
