Artificial intelligence is increasingly finding its way into our everyday lives, into businesses and into research. But how will it actually change our daily lives? What opportunities does it present for businesses and research? And what responsibilities do politicians and society bear?
These are the questions addressed by the Thuringian Innovation and Future Dialogue in Ilmenau. Taking concrete applications at MetraLabs as its starting point, the event covers a wide range of topics, from current research questions and future scenarios for the year 2035 to political and ethical issues. It becomes clear that AI is not merely a technological issue. It affects the way we work, do business and live together.
The aim of the event is to provide insights into the work of Thuringian companies and research institutions, whilst also sparking a discussion on how technological change can be shaped in the best interests of people.
