Database providers are increasingly turning to generative AI. Elsevier integrated an AI feature into the Scopus search interface at a very early stage with Scopus AI, which the University Library has licenced since 2024. But what are the concrete benefits? How does Scopus AI work, and can it actually make research more efficient and save time?

In this Coffee Lecture, we provide practical insights into the use of Scopus AI. We show how to find sources and other research-related information in Scopus using natural language queries and explore the reliability of AI-generated results.

  • only about 15 minutes
  • Participation: free of charge
  • Location: meeting room in Webex (the room will open 15 minutes before the Coffee Lecture begins).
