Clean Up in autumn

As in many other places in Germany, litter will once again be collected in Ilmenau and the surrounding area as part of World Clean Up Day. The collection points remain the same. Further information can be found on the NeNa website at https://www.nena-ilmenau.de/stadtoekologie/#muellsammelaktion. 

If you don’t want to collect rubbish on your own and are looking to join others to get involved, then come along at 10.00 am either to thepond behind the swimming pool or to the university campus; the meeting point there is by the magnifying glass in front of the Ernst Abbe Centre (EAZ). Rubbish bags will be handed out at both locations and you can form groups there. 

Of course, you’re also welcome to set off on your own to collect rubbish. As always, we’d love to see photos and (short) reports about your activities and ‘successes’. Please send them to: info@nena-ilmenau.de
