We all know Word (and similar tools) from everyday life and know that you can also create scientific texts with it. But especially for extensive texts (with many formulas) another tool comes into consideration: LaTeX. This Coffee Lecture Deluxe compares these instruments with regard to requirements, operation and results and offers an insight into scientific text creation with both tools.
