What does the TU Ilmenau stand for? Where do we want to be and where will we be in 2035? Are we still the only TU in Thuringia or are we an internationally recognized research university?
In recent years, we have further developed our strategic goals and, in connection with this, our teaching, research, transfer and internationalization strategy. Does this still fit together? How do we ensure that we achieve our goals - in times of declining student numbers, a shortage of specialists and financial challenges? And how do we ensure that the TU is perceived as an attractive place to study, teach and research, but also as an attractive employer?
The workshop will present and discuss the current status of strategy development, especially in the areas of research, teaching, internationalization and appointments. All university members who would like to contribute are cordially invited.
