In cooperation with the VDE University Group Ilmenau, the Student Council EI offers you an excursion to the pumped storage power plant Hohenwarte on January 16, 2024.
The pumped storage power plant is an important building block for the energy supply in Thuringia and the sixth largest pumped storage power plant in Germany.

Start: 7:30 a.m. at bus stop Mensa TU Ilmenau (https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/603358758)
End: around 2:30 p.m., bus stop Mensa TU Ilmenau
Cost sharing: 10 EUR deposit (will be paid out in cash at the start of the excursion)
Maximum number of participants: 50 people
Registration for the excursion takes place via Moodle, whereby the principle "first come - first serve" applies - it pays to be quick.
